Concept Statement

The McHills Financial Firm design will incorporate an open and spacious layout throughout the office to relate the company’s policies of transparency and good communication. Inspired by the reliability and stability of the earth, the space will integrate sustainable principles by utilizing energy efficient fixtures and life-cycle conscious products. The space will promote flexibility and comfort by catering to the employees’ health, wellness, and safety by ensuring that best practices are followed. Drawing from the rich minerals found within the earth, the design will relate to the client’s values of strength and reliability through the use of angled and organic lines, varied textures, and a natural color palette. Lighting will incorporate elements from the earth’s foundation, for just as there are contrasting levels of lightness and darkness in the earth, there will be multiple layers of light throughout the office to promote the comfort of all employees.
